As stated by, several students that attend North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University, Valentine’s Day is an important day to some, and some people don’t like Valentine’s Day or don’t see the value in Valentine’s Day.

“Couples celebrate Valentines Day in all sorts of ways, some go out to eat, maybe some people stay the night in basically spending time together. It would take me about a month to plan my gift for my Valentine, I would start planning my gift around the beginning of January. I like Valentine’s Day, not every year your going to have an Valentine but I like it because your celebrating love in general, and you are eligible to be around everybody that you love the most. -Ajanay Hancock
According to roseonly.com St Valentine’s Day is annual festival to celebrate romantic love. friendship and admiration. Every year on 14 February people celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family, and friends.
It wasn’t until more than 200 years later that 14 February was proclaimed St Valentine’s Day. By this time Rome had become Christian and the Catholic Church was determined to stamp out any remaining paganism. A pagan fertility ritual was held in February each year and the Pope abolished this festival and proclaimed 14 February Saint Valentine’s Day, thus establishing this feast day on the Catholic Calendar of Saints.
Reanna King whom is 19 years old is a Psychology major at A&T. She is a student who actually dislikes Valentine’s Day.

“I don’t like Valentine’s Day because I feel like everyone over glorifies it, and makes it about something that’s really not that important. Couples celebrate it by giving each other over glorified presents. I don’t think the love really be real, I think people do a lot of what they do for attention.” -Reanna King.

Beyoncé Carter was born on September 4, 1981 in Houston Texas. Beyoncé is currently 38 years old with 3 kids. Her first little girl name Blue Ivy, and a set of twins Rumi Carter, and Sir Carter. Beyoncé is not just an American Singer, Beyoncé is also a song writer, and actress and also a record producer. In 2019 Beyoncé had a net worth of $470 million with the albums of Lemonade, Dangerously in Love and more.
I chose Beyoncé because she remind me so much of myself. Beyoncé is a very strong women, whatever comes her way she push through, she doesn’t let people see her weakness, she goes for everything she wants without give up, she is a hardworking women, and she is very strong minded. The main thing I love about Beyoncé is she is all about her culture. She puts the culture in her music, and she always talks about her “Black Kings and Queens” Beyoncé has been around since I was little girl, starting with the group “Destiny’s Child”. In my eyes Beyoncé is a legend but also a role model.

Corrina Watibus opinion on Beyoncé She states; “I love Beyoncé, she is amazing, and a very talented artist and she does more than just sing, her shows are everything, her talent is everything, and how she supports the world is the best”

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
